We are seeking an experienced Controller who thrives in a hands‑on leadership role. This individual will oversee the accounting function, provide strategic financial guidance, improve internal processes, and partner with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and sound business decisions.

• Lead all accounting operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with operations to improve job costing, Work in Process (WIP), profitability analysis, and overall financial performance.
• Enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance with tax, licensing, and financial reporting requirements.
• Serve as the primary financial contact for banking partners, auditors, bonding companies, and external advisors.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the accounting team while providing hands‑on leadership and strategic financial guidance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related experience
• 4+ years of construction or project-based accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, month‑end close, and financial reporting
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a hands‑on leadership approach.
