Division Controller

We are partnering with a large private equity backed company with a high-growth, M&A model seeking a Divisional Controller to lead accounting operations during a business-wide transformation initiative. Reporting to the SVP of Finance & Accounting, this newly created role will oversee a team of 11 and have full responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, audit management, and process improvement across a complex, multi-entity business.

• Lead a large-scale accounting consolidation and transformation initiative.
• Oversee accounting operations for a spotlight business
• Partner directly with executive leadership and key business stakeholders.
• Help build the processes, controls, and infrastructure to support significant future growth.

• Lead AR, AP, GL, month-end close, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Manage external audits and technical accounting matters.
• Standardize accounting processes, controls, and reporting across multiple entities.
• Drive automation, systems improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Develop and mentor a team of 11 accounting professionals.

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Divisional Controller experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidation expertise.
• Experience managing external audits and multi-entity accounting environments.
• CPA preferred. Experience with transformation, integration, franchising, or private equity-backed businesses is a plus.
