Job Details

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a position offering an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, managing their financial operations and contributing to their success. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of accounting, including taxation, bookkeeping, payroll management, and auditing. They will also have a strong understanding of accounting software such as Quick Books, Ultra Tax, and other tax preparation tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management.

Utilize accounting software, such as Quick Books, AP, AR, and tax documentation, to maintain accurate financial records.

Design, document, and test processes and procedures that impact financial statements or company performance.

Prepare audit schedules and work closely with auditors to ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

Interact with clients regularly to provide updates, gather information, and address any concerns or queries.

Stay updated with international tax laws and apply this knowledge to optimize clients' financial operations.

Use tax preparation software, such as Ultra Tax, to ensure accurate and timely tax filing for clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax. Experience in Public Accounting is preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software, including Quick Books, AP, AR, and tax documentation.

Proven experience in designing, documenting, and testing processes and procedures that impact financial statements or company performance.

Ability to prepare audit schedules and work effectively with auditors.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and address their concerns.

Knowledge of international tax laws is a significant plus.

Experience with Ultra Tax and/or other tax preparation software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
