Senior Accountant, CPA

• Manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management
• Ensure compliance with US taxation laws and regulations, including timely filing of tax returns and payments
• Collaborate with sales and business development to support client acquisition and grow the firm's client base
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation
• Maintain current financial records and documentation using accounting software such as Quick Books
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide recommendations for financial performance and operational efficiency
• Foster cross-department collaboration to align financial strategies with business objectives
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
• Facilitate client onboarding for assigned engagements
• Contribute to client acquisition and retention efforts while providing customer service
• Organize and update digital and physical financial records
• Participate in external audits and provide documentation as needed
• Prepare year-end audit schedules and support the audit process
• Assist in documenting, designing, and testing processes and procedures affecting financial statements or company performance
• Assist with automating systems and spreadsheets to streamline accounting functions and processes

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related;
  Master's degree is a plus
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is a must
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax; experience in Public Accounting is preferred
• Comfort with, and interest in, client acquisition and business development activities
• Growth-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in long-term career advancement
• International Tax Law knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience with Quick Books and/or other accounting software
• Experience with Ultra Tax and/or other tax preparation software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
