Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in an office or clerical environment preferred.
License and Certification
  • None required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform general clerical duties for the local school, including preparing and transcribing reports, forms, memos, and letters; preparing work orders, purchase orders, and/or item orders; organizing and maintaining files; routing correspondence; utilizing telecommunication equipment; processing information requests; operating office machinery; and processing student enrollment or withdrawal as assigned.
  • Maintain and communicate a general working knowledge of local school and school system public information, policies, procedures, and events.
  • Communicate with all parties in a businesslike, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Assist with new projects in the local school.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods, talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, feel, and/or reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
