Position SummaryThe Account Manager/Ops Coordinator plays a critical frontline role as part of our Operations Team. This individual has ownership of specific customer accounts and coordinates with the scheduling and dispatching team and liaises with field technicians across multiple trades, to ensure every job is completed on time, on budget, and to our quality standards.
This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented, customer service-focused individual with experience in the facility services industry.
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Coordination- Monitor job progress throughout the day, proactively addressing delays, cancellations, or resource conflicts.
- Ensure all work orders are accurately documented, updated in real time, and closed out properly in the field service management system.
- Develop quotes based on in-field assessments.
- Foster a positive, safety-first team culture that promotes accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
- Manage customer accounts, which includes providing clear and timely communications to customers, responding to customer needs and escalations, and developing quotes for these key accounts.
- Build customer relationships to grow accounts and strengthen partnerships
- Act as the escalation point for field staff dealing with customer issues.
- Oversee quality inspections on completed jobs to ensure workmanship meets company and client standards.
- Gather and track customer feedback; escalate recurring issues to the Operations Manager.
- Provide client communication for scheduling updates, delays, or scope changes and prompt responses to customer concerns and service callbacks, coordinating resolution with field teams.
- Oversee parts and materials ordering, ensuring field teams have what they need to complete jobs efficiently.
- Support company-wide strategies, such as efficient completion of jobs.
- 4+ years of experience in a facility maintenance, property services, or trades environment.
- Hands-on familiarity with one or more skilled trades (handyman, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, HVAC, or similar).
- Proficiency with field service management software (e.g., Service Titan, Service Fusion, Jobber, Field Edge, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with both office and field staff.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (Concentration in Business, Construction Management, Facilities Management Finance, or a related field preferred)
