Key Responsibilities

Improve key operational performance areas
Analyze and recommend process improvements
Act as resource to plant manager in identifying inefficiencies and solving them
Work with team members to develop good working relationships and high morale
Coach supervisors in production and team member decision
Correlate with 1st shift USDA on a daily basis
Facilitate information across all shifts and departments
Correlate with Director of Fleet Operations as needed
Personally monitor all KPI and cost/lbs data on a daily basis
Implement all WOG yield measures as directed by the Plant Manager

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for 8‑10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8‑10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments
