Job Description *
* Supervises employees who provide physical security and fire protection to safeguard personnel and property. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. May coordinate the activities of patrol cars, emergency firefighting equipment, radar, closed-circuit TV, and communications systems. Establishes regular security inspections and coordinates with firefighting and civil law-enforcement agencies.

The Operations Facility Protection Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight and management of all operational aspects of the fire department, including emergency response, apparatus deployment, daily shift supervision, and command-level incident support. This position ensures that operational personnel and resources are mission-ready, fully compliant with the installation's emergency response requirements. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced professional that will provide oversight for all aspects of shift operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of fire protection services.

** Basic Qualifications*
* + Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education in fire suppression operations, including supervisory or command duties

** Certifications (DoD, IFSAC, or Pro Board):*
* + Certified Firefighter I/II

+ Airport Firefighter

+ Fire Officer III

+ Fire Instructor II

+ Fire Inspector II

+ Haz Mat Incident Commander

+ Incident Safety Officer

+ ICS 100, 200, 700, 800

+ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

+ NREMT/State of Georgia (Licensed), EMT, Basic Level or Higher

+ Haz Mat Technician

+ Confined Space Technician

+ Driver / Operator (ARFF) & (Pumper)

* + Expert knowledge of fire suppression, EMS, rescue, and hazardous materials incident management.

+ Emergency mitigation experience, skilled in incident command (ICS/NIMS), tactical planning, and after-action review processes.

+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of leading large, diverse teams under pressure.

+ Familiarity with fire department software systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Applications, RMS, CAD, accountability systems).

+ Understanding of fleet operations, station logistics, turnout gear/PPE maintenance, and equipment readiness protocols.

High level of situational awareness and problem-solving capability in emergency operations

* Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
