Project Manager - Reconstruction Department

Location: Marietta, GA (with travel to other Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida markets as needed).
Division: Reconstruction and Rebuild Services.
Reports to: Reconstruction Department Manager.

Position – Project Manager – Reconstruction Department

• Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to completion, including demolition, structural repairs, and finishing work.
• Schedule, direct, and supervise subcontractors and internal crews to ensure timely and high-quality completion of all phases of work.
• Coordinate closely with mitigation teams to ensure rebuild projects begin on time and follow proper procedures.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines using restoration software such as Xactimate or Docu Sketch.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, business owners, and insurance adjusters, providing regular updates and resolving concerns.
• Inspect job sites regularly to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to local building codes.
• Document project progress through daily logs, photographs, moisture readings, and punch lists.
• Ensure OSHA and Georgia construction safety standards are met on all job sites.
• Train and mentor crew members on safety practices and Serclean procedures.

• At least three years of experience managing reconstruction or restoration projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction trades, materials, and Georgia building codes.
• Proficiency in Xactimate, DASH, Docu Sketch, or similar software.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead crews and interact with clients effectively.

• IICRC certifications such as WRT or ASD.
• Previous experience in water mitigation or insurance-driven restoration projects.
• Established network of subcontractors in the region.

• On-call availability for emergency or after-hours needs when required.
• Travel between job sites within Georgia and occasionally to Tennessee or Florida.
• Exposure to construction environments, including dust, noise, and occasional mold.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
