Position Overview

BA Kitchen and Bath Design is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bilingual Estimator & Purchasing Coordinator to support our residential remodeling projects. This role is responsible for project estimating, material and cabinet ordering, invoicing, and client payment collection. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of residential remodeling construction costs and excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Sales Support

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home remodeling projects.
• Review plans, specifications, measurements, and project scope to determine labor and material costs.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop project budgets.
• Obtain pricing from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist in proposal preparation and estimate revisions.
• Support the sales team throughout the project development process.

Cabinet & Material Ordering

• Enter cabinet orders accurately through manufacturer and supplier ordering systems.
• Verify cabinet layouts, dimensions, finishes, accessories, and specifications.
• Order materials, fixtures, and products required for projects.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, deliveries, and order status.
• Monitor purchase orders and track materials through project completion.
• Resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and warranty issues.

Invoicing & Payment Collection

• Create and issue customer invoices according to project schedules and payment milestones.
• Process change orders and billing updates.
• Collect client payments including deposits, progress payments, and final payments.
• Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate financial records and payment documentation.
• Coordinate with management regarding project billing and payment schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in residential remodeling.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen, bathroom, basement, and residential renovation projects.
• Experience with cabinet ordering systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Experience with invoicing, payment collection, and customer account management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and estimating software (Job Tread).
• Excellent communication and customer Service skills.

Language Requirement

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) - Required.
