Senior Project Manager

A well-established commercial mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee HVAC and plumbing construction projects throughout the Atlanta market. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while working closely with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and field teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial mechanical construction who enjoys leading multiple projects and wants to join a stable, design-build contractor with a strong reputation and long-term backlog of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from kickoff through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and profitability
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships throughout construction
• Support project teams to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved
• Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously while providing leadership to field and office teams

Requirements

• 4+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial mechanical contractor
• Experience managing commercial HVAC and/or plumbing installation projects
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout
• Experience with budgets, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost control
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Experience working directly with GCs, owners, architects, and engineers
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar is preferred
