J&J Dental is growing and we're looking to add an experienced Dental Assistant to our friendly team!
Located at 2230 Roswell Road Suite 200 Marietta, GA 30062. Our office is conveniently situated near the Roswell Road and Old Canton Road area, just northwest of Atlanta.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a friendly, dependable, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will support the dentist during patient care, prepare treatment rooms and instruments, assist with patient records, and help ensure a positive and comfortable patient experience.
Position Schedule- Monday - Thursday 7:45 am-5 pm (Lunch 12-1)
- Some Fridays
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Follow proper infection-control, sterilization, and safety procedures.
- Seat patients, review medical and dental histories, and assist with patient preparation.
- Provide patients with post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist with scheduling, patient communication, and other front-office duties as needed.
- Monitor and maintain dental supplies and inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental assisting experience preferred.
- Dental Assistant certification/registration preferred or required according to state regulations.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection-control practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a commitment to excellent patient care.
