About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Architect (licensed) / Project Leader (non-licensed) to drive the technical execution of our projects from concept through completion, documentation, and quality across project phases. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the details, ensures quality and coordination, and can bridge design intent with real-world constructability.

Essential Duties and Functions
  • Lead the technical development and execution of projects across all phases
  • Produce and oversee high-quality, coordinated construction documents aligned with firm standards
  • Ensure design intent is accurately translated into technical documentation
  • Coordinate drawings, specifications, and consultant work for consistency and quality
  • Maintain compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and constructability standards
  • Lead design and technical reviews for key projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to support project delivery
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing technical insight
  • Proactively identify and resolve design, coordination, and performance challenges
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • An architectural license (preferred) with a minimum of five years of experience
  • Progressive experience supporting and leading technical project execution
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and coordination
  • Working understanding of building codes and industry standards
  • Proficiency in software used by the firm, including but not limited to Revit, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and meet deadlines
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and accountability
  • Highly ethical
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • This position will involve travel to client sites. In addition, occasional travel to other LDDBlueline offices will be necessary for training and planning.
