Overview
Kennesaw State University is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor of Information Technology in the Department of Information Technology. The preferred start date is August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teach information technology at undergraduate and graduate levels in online, hybrid, or face-to-face modalities as needed by the department.
- Develop and maintain an active and productive research agenda.
- Provide service in the Department, College, University, or professional communities as expected.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- An earned PhD, or foreign equivalent, in a computing discipline such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data and Information Science, or Computer/Electrical Engineering, required at the time of hire.
