Overview
Infant and Toddler Preschool Teacher – Full Time position at our Quality Rated Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to work and learn about many aspects of infant development, developmentally appropriate practices, and social/emotional support. We support teacher growth and development in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Work shift:
Monday to Friday, 9:30 am – 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities and DutiesThe Infant and Toddler Preschool Teacher will:
- Follow lesson plans and newsletters based on GELDS and Discovery Point's Curriculum
- Assess children’s development daily
- Communicate with parents and management
- Work cooperatively with other teachers
- Create a clean, organized learning environment for children
- Help classrooms develop environments that support the highest quality in child development as a Quality Rated expert
- Engage in professional development opportunities for growth in areas of interest
- Maintain work hours from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday (no late nights or weekends)
Required:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Teacher in a child care setting
- Certificate or degree in early childhood (CDA, TCC/TCD, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree) or willingness to enroll within the first 3 months
- Experience with Quality Rated is preferred
- Strong candidacy indicators: cheerful, organized, creative, loving, and positive with children; dependable, punctual, and flexible to center needs
