Position: Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in the Department of Computer Science

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science for the academic year . These positions will be on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank will be determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science and/or AI/machine learning.
  • Teach in face‑to‑face, hybrid, or fully online formats.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses:
  • A minimum of a master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in computer science, AI/machine learning or a closely related discipline.
  • OR a minimum of a master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non‑related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
To teach graduate courses:
  • A terminal/doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in computer science, AI/machine learning or a related discipline.
