Specific Requirements
- We are seeking a day instructor for a Medical Assisting program. The instructor will work part‑time at an hourly rate. Day classes are held from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and the position is 24 hours per week.
- The instructor must be able to teach both lab and lecture classes. Courses run on a rotating schedule, with one course every six weeks.
- Ten years of experience in medical assisting is preferred; five years is required.
- National certification (NCCT, AMT, etc.) is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a post‑secondary educational facility is preferred. Experience teaching in a hybrid format is a plus.

- Subject‑related work experience preferred.

- Attend all scheduled in‑services and meetings, completing assigned independent studies.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by following equipment guidelines and maintaining cleanliness.
- Complete reports accurately and timely.
