Lead Teacher for Infants to 3-Year-Olds

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team focused on infants to 3‑year‑olds. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment that supports the growth and development of our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age‑appropriate curriculum and activities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development.
  • Establish a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child, recognizing their unique needs and developmental stages.
  • Monitor and document each child’s progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child’s development.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and child‑friendly classroom that complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with early childhood education practices and trends.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education, (not required but preferred) Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants to 3‑year‑olds in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
  • Must be able to lift 35‑40 pounds.
  • Bilingual preferred.
