Job SummaryKennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Software Engineering in the Department of Software Engineering and Game Development with a preferred start date of January 1, 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teaching three first-year fundamental programming and computing systems courses per semester (approximately 120 students per course) in an engaging, inclusive, and student-centered manner
- Delivering instruction across face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities, during daytime and evening hours, on both the Marietta and Kennesaw campuses
- Participating in course and program development activities
- Working collegially with faculty colleagues across the department
- Providing student teaching and clinical supervision as needed
- Advising students on academic and course planning
- A minimum of an earned Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Computing or a closely related field
- Experience teaching online or hybrid college-level courses
