This part-time position offers the chance to make a real impact in a vibrant educational setting, working from 8:00am to 12:30pm with a dedicated 4th grade caseload. As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll collaborate in a co-taught environment focused on helping students thrive in ELA and math.

Qualifications and

Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience working with elementary school students, preferably in 4th grade
• Strong knowledge of ELA and math instructional strategies
• Experience with co-teaching models is highly valued
• Passion for fostering growth and inclusion for all learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted ELA and math instruction to 4th grade students in a co-taught classroom
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address specific student needs
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, aides, and school staff
• Track student progress and communicate with families and support staff
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Adapt lessons and classroom resources as needed to meet diverse learning needs
