Conduct power plant runs and assist mechanics in running them;
Investigate malfunctions of electrical equipment before and after flight test and diagnose issues;
Replace or repair defective electrical components such as solenoids, selsyns, light bulbs, thermocouples, motors, fuses, circuit breakers, instruments, and gauges;
Check output of ship’s generator and electrical accessories during inspections as required;
Incorporate design changes into aircraft electrical systems and generators as specified by blueprints or other documents
