A highly respected structural engineering consulting firm in Georgia is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This firm specializes in building design, foundation engineering, and steel connection detailing, delivering solutions focused on safety, efficiency, and constructability. Role ResponsibilitiesPosition:
Structural Engineer
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types.
- Prepare engineering calculations and detailed construction drawings.
- Assist with scope evaluation, project planning, and technical reviews.
- Conduct QA/QC, including review of shop drawings and RFI responses.
- Mentor junior engineers while collaborating with senior team members.
- Complete site visits and inspections as needed.
- Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or actively progressing toward PE licensure in the near future.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- Proficiency with Revit, RISA, Bluebeam, and experience producing construction documents.
- Working knowledge of major codes: IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NDS.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client‑facing settings.
- Integrity‑driven, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable interacting with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
