You will be in the role of 726192  – RF Engineer – Senior for the AMMM (Air Mobility and Maritime Missions) Communications/Navigation and Surveillance team, responsible for integrating advanced radio systems onto the C‑130 platform.

Responsibilities

As the RF Engineer – Senior you will design, integrate, test, and field RF solutions to enable reliable communications and navigation for C‑130 aircraft.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architect and design RF circuitry and system/subsystem components for high‑frequency and microwave applications.
  • Lead procurement, installation, and integration of radios onto the C‑130 platform.
  • Develop test methods, execute verification testing, and analyze performance data to ensure compliance.
  • Perform link analysis, trade studies, and CAIV analysis to optimize system performance and mitigate interference.
  • Provide technical input to product development documentation and support manufacturing during assembly and test phases.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Programming experience in MATLAB and Python.
  • Experience in supplier management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Desired

Skills:

  • Experience with HF/VHF/UHF radios.
  • Experience with systems engineering.
  • Experience with antenna design, modeling, and testing.
  • Programming experience with HFSS.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with defense industry and Lockheed Martin processes.
  • Familiarity with the C‑130 platform.
Security Clearance

This position requires a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Work Schedule

Onsite, full‑time.

Schedule:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of work schedules, including standard 40‑hour weeks and condensed schedules.
