Project Engineer -Level 4

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept, through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications.
• Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manage technical risk.
• Drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
• Act as single voice and point of contact to program management and senior leadership on program execution.
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Program Manager.
• Develop innovative and scalable standardized processes to maintain agility and flexibility.
• Complete all Earned Value Management assigned duties, including work authorization requests, estimate at complete reviews, schedule status, variance reporting, comprehensive estimates at complete, and proposal tasks.

• Bachelor's degree with a STEM major required
• 5 years experience in an aircraft design, test, integration, or sustainment environment.
• Project Management or Project Engineering experience
• Experience managing conflicting program priorities
• Demonstrated understanding of Program planning and management of complex program issues

• Previous CAM (Control Account Manager) management experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) responsibilities
• Prior Software, Avionics, or Aircraft experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency in developing proposals and executing programs and projects
• Ability to author initial design and follow‑on Statement of Work language
• Understanding of Technical Supplier/Sub‑Contract Management and Integration
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to coordinate technical planning across a broad range of stakeholders
• Risk and Opportunity Identification experience
• Accountability and exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and technical success
• Proficient using MS Project

This position requires a government security clearance. Clearance level:
Secret. Must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
