Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP). In this role, you will coordinate across engineering teams, ensure program requirements are met, and deliver project development and process improvements.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Engineer you will be responsible for communicating progress across various teams and acting as the focal interface between program managers, team leads, engineering subject matter experts, suppliers, and program partners on respective contracts within the portfolio of programs.
- Support proposals and business capture for ADP.
- Understand program’s technical information and contractual scopes.
- Create, coordinate, and implement project plans.
- Provide strategies for resolving issues, integrating with external partners, suppliers, and vendors.
- Drive continuous improvements, technical solutions, change management, and risk assessments.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with proposals, contracts, and process development and improvement.
- Experience in project planning and/or project management.
- Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- SECRET security clearance.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Earned Value Management experience.
- Experience with project management, project engineering, and/or systems engineering.
- Experience with software and/or IT.
- Knowledge of engineering design and tools such as Catia v5 or equivalent CAD systems.
- Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and experience with tools such as Teamcenter/JIRA/Confluence.
- Experience with project performance and metric tools such as Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Tableau.
- Experience conducting gap analysis and managing multiple project milestones.
- Control Account Management (CAM) certification, training, or knowledge.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and practices.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required.
This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be US citizens and have a SECRET clearance with an investigation or CV date within the last 5 years.
