  • Research, author, and edit fault‑isolation procedures and diagnostic documentation.
  • Develop, test, and refine diagnostic algorithms (fault detection, health indices, trend monitoring).
  • Perform data‑driven analysis of aircraft performance, maintenance, and failure data to propose improvements to diagnostic logic and health‑monitoring strategies.
  • Collect product specifications, verify configuration baselines, and validate support requirements for diagnostic systems.
  • Produce clear, process‑oriented technical documentation (manuals, SOPs, engineering reports) for internal and external customers.
  • Support the creation of inputs for Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and quotes related to DHM capabilities.
  • Travel occasionally to supplier and customer facilities (domestic & international) as needed.
  • Work overtime as required to meet scheduled deliveries while requiring minimal direction.
  • Subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of aircraft maintenance concepts and practices covering multiple systems.
  • Understanding of diagnostic and/or prognostic concepts.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance and a working knowledge/understanding of vehicle‑level diagnostics, fault‑isolation logic, or health monitoring implementations.
  • Knowledge of aircraft technical manuals; understanding how those manuals relate to the maintenance philosophy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or another STEM related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
Desired Skills
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate (or equivalent).
  • Direct experience developing fault‑isolation procedures for aircraft systems.
  • Hands‑on work with diagnostics and health‑monitoring tools or platforms.
  • Experience analyzing large maintenance/performance data sets to drive engineering decisions.
  • Proven technical‑writing background (producing manuals, SOPs, engineering reports).
  • Knowledge of systems‑engineering processes, including integration, verification, and testing of diagnostic hardware/software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Windows Operating System; ability to use data‑analysis tools (Excel, Python, MATLAB, or similar) is a plus.
  • Must be self‑motivated, detail oriented, and able to excel in a team environment.
