Description:
You will be the Senior Project Engineer (Level
3) for the AMMM Development/Production/Sustainment Project Engineering team which is responsible for supporting the C‑130, C‑5, and P‑3 aircraft platforms across a variety of support contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Project Engineer (Level
3) you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex system and technical development efforts from concept through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment, and modifications. You will ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, assess technical feasibility, and manage technical risk.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept through sustainment and modifications.
Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology (E&T) strategy, technical feasibility, and manage technical risk.
Drive planning and execution across all Engineering teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements while satisfying customer needs.
Act as the single voice and point of contract to program management and senior leadership on program execution.
Develop innovative and scalable standardization processes to maintain agility and flexibility.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* Experience in aircraft design, testing, integration, or sustainment environment
* Hands on engineering experience working and resolving technical issues.

* EVMS or Cost/Schedule Principles

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
