Manager of Configuration Management – Level 5 for the ADP Configuration Management team.

As the Manager of Configuration Management – Level 5 you will be responsible for leading a high‑performing configuration management organization within the Advanced Development Program, guiding both leadership and technical execution.

• Leading and mentoring a 20+ member configuration management team.
• Balancing leadership and technical tasks, maintaining roughly a 50/50 split between leadership and individual contributor tasks.
• Defining, implementing, and ensuring compliance with CM processes.
• Overseeing staffing, performance management, training, and career planning.
• Managing project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

A collaborative leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at interfacing with program management, customers, and integrated product teams. You bring proven experience in configuration management, process governance, and team development, thriving in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

• 10+ years of experience managing hardware and software configuration on an Aerospace program with responsibility for configuration management planning and management, configuration identification, configuration change management, configuration status accounting, configuration verification and audit, supplier management.
• Experience as the configuration lead on an aerospace program.
• Experience developing, estimating and executing the Configuration Management portion of an Aerospace SOW.
• Cost Account Management (CAM) Certification.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems (e.g. Teamcenter, 3DX).
• Briefed to at least 1 ADP ISR/UAS SAP.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math.
• Experience analyzing hardware and software systems.
• Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies.
• Focused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly.
• Demonstrated systems‑thinking behaviors; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change.
• Resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with configuration status accounting and product release process.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience working with customer and Sub‑Contractor CDRL/SDRLs and SOWs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with reading and understanding DoD Contracts.
• Able to prioritize tasking and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
