Description
You will be the Systems Engineer - Level 2 for the Configuration Management (CM) Team which is responsible for supporting Aeronautics Engineering and Technology initiatives across Air Mobility & Maritime Missions.
As the Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for driving disciplined configuration management practices that safeguard product integrity and enable rapid mission delivery.
Responsibilities- Supporting Configuration Status Accounting and maintain accurate configuration data.
- Executing Configuration Control activities, including change evaluation, approval, and implementation.
- Conducting Configuration Audits and IUID tracking to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Collaborating with internal and external customers and suppliers on CM processes and issue resolution.
- Producing clear oral and written communications for CM documentation, reports, and stakeholder briefings.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
- Systems Engineering experience.
- Solid written and oral skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication.
- Experience working with suppliers.
- Familiar with engineering drawing practices and Statements‑of‑Work.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with Tableau.
- Experience developing databases.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret.
Location:
Marietta, GA.
This role is onsite full-time at a Lockheed Martin facility.
