Description
You will be the Systems Engineer/Training Developer - Level 4 for the Skunk Works Integration Team which is responsible for developing and delivering training for the MD‑5 Ground Control System (GCS) within the UMCS/MQ‑25 program.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer/Training Developer - Level 4 you will be responsible for creating and supporting innovative training solutions that enable customers to operate and maintain the GCS and associated C4I systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and maintain multimedia courseware for GCS and C4I system training, applying instructional systems design methodology.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise, briefings, and hands‑on training to customer personnel in classroom, shipboard, and shore‑based environments.
- Collaborate with air‑vehicle pilots, engineers, and simulation technicians to define training requirements and validate instructional content.
- Apply systems analysis techniques to translate hardware, software, and functional specifications into clear training and technical publications.
- Support installation, system familiarization, and operational training while ensuring compliance with verification, validation, and supportability standards.

Who You AreYou are a collaborative engineer with strong expertise in training development, multimedia authoring tools, and systems integration. Your background includes instructional design, courseware creation, and experience with aerospace or defense systems. You thrive in cross‑functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and are driven to deliver high‑impact learning experiences that support mission success.
Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years to start.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience operating and maintaining Ground Command and Control Systems and associated support equipment.
- Experience developing, planning, and delivering training programs or courses.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems and networks.
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Working knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Experience supporting or operating military aircraft.
- Familiarity with aircraft carrier (CVN) operations and environments.
- Experience in computer system administration.
- Experience in network administration and network infrastructure support.
- Experience with network installation and configuration.
- Proficiency with Linux/UNIX system administration.
- Ability to develop clear, concise technical reports and documentation.
- Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and practices.
- Background in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and courseware development.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
