  • Create pre‑plans covering tooling needs, material flow, and labor‑charging requirements to set realistic execution targets.
  • Partner with electrical engineering, design engineering, supply‑chain, quality, and production teams to capture interface requirements and close design‑to‑manufacturing gaps.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date planning documentation, work instructions, and best‑practice guidelines in accordance with AMMM standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to peers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high‑quality results.

Who you are

A collaborative, detail‑oriented engineer with a strong grasp of electrical systems and a proven ability to bridge design and manufacturing. You thrive on teamwork, continuous learning, and delivering precise, high‑impact solutions.

Basic qualifications
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and applying blueprints, schematics, and tool design documentation to support manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with standard planning workflows, work instructions, and documentation required for fabrication, assembly, and installation activities.
  • Experience with common fabrication methods (e.g., machining, welding, additive manufacturing, sheet metal forming, wire harnesses development) and associated procedural controls.
  • Experience creating, reviewing, and validating BOMs, ensuring accurate part counts, material specifications, and cost data for downstream activities.
Desired skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for cross‑functional audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Able to evaluate engineering change proposals, assess their effect on manufacturability, cost, schedule, and quality, and provide data‑driven recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize production readiness.
  • Well‑rounded knowledge of AMMM aircraft, mainly C‑130. F‑22 and F‑16 are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MES and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Computer Aided Process Planning [CAPP] and Shop Floor Manager [SFM], SAP, Siemens Capital, 3DX DELMIA Apriso).
