Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Engineer (E3)
You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer for the Aeronautics team which is responsible for advancing cutting edge aircraft technologies.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer you will be responsible for leading requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of systems, and overseeing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of developmental and deployable payloads on flight-test fighter platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead requirements development, tracking, and verification testing for system-level projects.
- Conduct platform-level EMC testing and create test procedures for flight-test modifications.
- Perform RF and antenna analysis, including COSITE assessments, antenna-radome performance, and RF/fiber-optic cabling evaluations.
- Assess electromagnetic radiation hazards (EMRADHAZ) and ensure compliance with aircraft power and wiring standards.
- Coordinate domestic travel for on-site test execution and stakeholder collaboration.

Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.
Location:

- STEM degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or Physics.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Design concepts of system-level EMC testing with experience.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-461F/G, MIL-STD-464C/D.
- Basic understanding of the Systems Engineering process.
- Ability to multi-task and work with multiple teams on different concurrent projects.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and RF measurement techniques, RF/Fiber optic cabling, and/or antenna radome performance.
- Experience authoring documents using Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in a flight test environment.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
