Systems Engineer

As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:

• Serve as the C130J Flight simulation program Concurrency Lead.
• Contribute to the development activities of the C130J Flight Simulator Program.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Supply Chain and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to determine Aircraft Equipment impacts.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the simulator architecture remains aligned to the C‑130J Aircraft production line based on incoming customer sales and production line changes.

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or engineering field.
• 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience leading a cross‑functional team.
• Prior C‑130 technical publication knowledge.
• Knowledge of the C‑130 parts process.

• Prior C‑130 training syllabus knowledge.
• Knowledge of the C‑130 DMS parts process.
• Ability to speak across business areas and establish strong relationships.
• Experience using tools such as Microsoft Office, DOORs, DOORs Next, Model Based Systems Engineering and AI tools.
• Familiarity with AI / Agile execution process.
• Experience presenting to various functions and working with Program Management to determine future program impact.

This position requires a government security clearance. A U.S. citizen is required for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Domestic travel may be required, up to 10% of time, depending on program demand. Part‑time remote telework is available; the employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility. The schedule can be 4x10 hour days with 3 days off per week or other flexible arrangements.
