PositionFlight Line Test Mechanic C-130 – responsible for servicing and troubleshooting complex aircraft systems.
What You Will Be Doing- Determine methods, tools, operations, and sequences necessary to rework, check out, and service aircraft structures, hydraulic and plumbing, rigging, and mechanical systems, as well as power plants.
- Make changes and replacements to hydraulic, plumbing, and rigging systems, fuel and oil units, power plants, and other components.
- Adjust ship systems to meet flight line requirements.
- Mock‑up, fabricate, and install new parts, structures, and systems and perform final flight servicing, troubleshooting, and operational checkout of complex aircraft for airworthiness and conformance to applicable design specifications.
- Correct all malfunctions and defects revealed on the ground and/or in flight.
- Utilize computerized state‑of‑the‑art equipment to troubleshoot complex systems and apply advanced skills and ingenuity to analyze and correct malfunctions.

Minimum Education RequiredHigh School/GED
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced mechanic with strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and power plants. You will have excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work with complex systems, applying advanced skills and ingenuity to analyze and correct malfunctions.
Basic Qualifications- Four (4) years’ experience within the past twelve (12) years in Flight Line Aircraft systems maintenance, functional checkout, preflight, troubleshooting, correction of flight squawks, and engine/APU performance checks. Experience must have been actual flight line work on live aircraft systems.
- Optional offsets: aircraft technical school training, associate degree in aviation maintenance technology, or reserve/National Guard service as described.
- Graduate of a certified Aircraft Systems Mechanic Apprenticeship Program within the last six (6) months.
Prior F‑22 experience.
Security ClearanceRequires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
Onsite full‑time. Schedule for this position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
