Geologics is seeking a Master Planner for an onsite role in Marietta, GA to provide planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations. The candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
Minimum Qualifications- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool (primary tool – hands‑on experience required)
- Microsoft Project (secondary)
- Milestones Professional
- Cradle‑to‑grave IMS development – building a schedule from SOW to completion, not just maintaining one
- Critical Path Methodology
- Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
- Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations. The candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development. The candidate advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost.
The role requires effective communication and cross‑coordination with IPTs. Candidates must have experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and its application in schedule network development and analysis. The candidate will develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). The position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production. Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work in a team environment.
Must be a self‑starter with demonstrated hands‑on experience in Program Planning and Scheduling. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.
