Description
You will be the Systems Engineer Sr for the LM Aero Simulation System Labs, C-130 Labs Operations Team. You will join a lauded team of over 20 lab systems engineers supporting dozens of labs at the Marietta site.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer Sr you will plan, coordinate, support, and conduct lab test events for C-130 Operational Flight Program (OFP) testing at the system level utilizing Hardware-in-the-Loop Avionics Mock-up Labs and/or virtual test simulation labs including Man-in-the-Loop high fidelity simulation.
Responsibilities include:
- Primary tasks include developing lab procedures
- Coordinating lab configurations
- Loading development software
- Resolving lab deficiencies
- Supporting development engineer’s integration challenges
Additional tasks include lab sustainment and compliance efforts, lab scheduling and capability development support, lab requirements definition, and lab trouble shooting and deficiency reporting. Selected candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule to support lab development and integration; odd shift could include nights, weekends, and occasional US travel.

LocationThis position is in Marietta, GA.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF)
- Radio Frequency background with broad experience in air mobility test community
- Direct experience with C-130 Radar flight and system integration testing
- Candidate experience with aircraft avionics, datalink, radio, navigation, and radar systems, aircraft operational flight program testing, and sensor integration
- Candidate knowledge of and experience with development test procedures and processes
- Subsystem development and related system integration experience
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.
