Position: Systems Engineer (MBSE - Skunk Works) - Level 2
Job Description

You will be the Systems Engineer for the Advanced Development Program (ADP) which is responsible for pioneering cutting-edge aircraft concepts.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer you will be responsible for translating complex requirements into robust system architectures, driving Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, and delivering high-quality artifacts that enable rapid development.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, designing and maintaining system architecture models using Cameo MBSE tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate multidisciplinary requirements.
- Engaging senior leadership with clear, concise technical briefings and status updates.
- Managing multiple, concurrent assignments while meeting strict timelines.
- Supporting teammates proactively, stepping in wherever needed to ensure mission success.

Your expertise in Systems Engineering and MBSE, combined with hands-on experience in Cameo, positions you to make immediate impact on advanced aircraft development.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Engineering discipline:
Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems or related STEM discipline.

Cameo experience.

Communicate effectively within an agile team environment.

Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Desired skills

Understanding of Systems Engineering principles:
Systems Engineering V, Systems Decomposition, Requirements, Verification, etc.

Experience utilizing Teamwork Cloud

Understanding of MBSE Languages and Frameworks:
SysML, DoDAF, UAF

Business Process Mapping experience

Knowledge of Agile SAFe methodology

Engineering analytical and problem solving skills

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
