Due to continued growth, we're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering, controls, automation, and maintenance initiatives at one of its key manufacturing operations in Marietta, GA
.

What You'll Do- Lead engineering, controls, automation, and maintenance initiatives for a high-volume manufacturing facility.
- Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement across plant operations.
- Manage and develop engineering and maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Lead PLC programming, controls upgrades, troubleshooting, and automation projects.
- Partner with Operations, Production, Corporate Engineering, and Plant Leadership to improve productivity, safety, and equipment performance.
- Oversee capital projects from concept through installation and startup.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that maximize uptime.
- Analyze equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
- Travel to company facilities to support projects, share best practices, and collaborate with engineering teams. Potentially up to 60% (though initially major work done in Marietta).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Engineering leadership experience within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in PLC programming, controls systems, industrial automation, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience leading maintenance and reliability programs.
- Proven ability to manage technical teams while developing future engineering talent.
- Knowledge of capital project management and equipment installations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Competitive salary of $145,000–$174,000 plus bonus
