Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 4 GIS Project Engineer to work from our Marietta, GA location.

We are seeking an experienced GIS professional who can bridge business development, project execution, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate will drive internal and external client relationships, manage full‑cycle technical projects, and provide expert GIS analysis and implementation for critical infrastructure environments (power generation & delivery, oil & gas, chemical).

This hybrid role blends strategic insight with hands‑on technical execution to deliver high‑quality geospatial solutions on time and within budget.

This is an MID‑SR CAREER (level
4) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

• Experience:
  
  5 years of relevant experience (including at least 3 years focused on GIS consulting/implementation).
• Project Management:
  Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle projects, develop schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans; familiarity with standard PM methodologies.
• GIS Expertise:
  Advanced GIS skills (spatial analysis, data integration, modeling). Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and data flow tools such as FME.
• Technical Leadership:
  Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex GIS solutions; experience delivering geospatial analytics for critical infrastructure environments.
• Software Proficiency:
  Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – advanced proficiency.
