You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Sr Stf for the C-130 Wing Airframe Design Team which is responsible for advancing airframe structure design within the AMMM program.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Aeronautical Engineer Sr Stf you will be responsible for leading a high‑performing team of airframe structure design engineers to deliver robust, compliant aircraft structures.

- Lead a team of airframe structure design engineers in developing airframe structures while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory regulations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that meet those requirements.
- Coordinate with support organizations—including stress analysis, manufacturing, tooling, supply chain management, and quality assurance to ensure successful implementation of designs.
- Conduct technical reviews, provide feedback, and mentor team members to elevate design quality and professional growth.
- Develop and implement design standards, processes, and procedures that drive efficient and effective delivery of airframe structure solutions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
-This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, equivalent education/experience considered
- Aircraft or related Design / Test / Support experience
- Experience in CAD systems (i.e. CATIA V5, CCD, NX, Solid Works, etc.)
- Familiarity with mod / kit design
- Familiarity with legacy aircraft programs
- Excellent communication, presentation, people and team skills
- Proven history of strong work habits and a positive attitude
- Familiar with Earned Value Management techniques and associated reporting for cost and schedule status
- Familiar with assigning tasks, planning work and oversight of tasks through completion
- C-130 experience
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
