This position will primarily work nights and weekends and will be responsible for greeting and assisting patrons by providing information about recreation programs, schedules, and facility policies. The position will also assist with custodial duties such as cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep of the facility.

Essential Functions- Performs customer service functions: provides information or assistance regarding services, activities, on the phone and in person, forms, procedures, fees, or other issues; responds to routine questions and complaints; researches problems and initiates problem resolution; and refers complaints/problems to appropriate personnel.
- Processes participant registrations, court reservations, tournament registrations, and other scheduled services and events: receives requests for classes, court times, or other scheduled services; reviews registration forms for accuracy and completeness; enters information into online database and calendars; collects and records fees; and maintains related documentation.
- Prepares facilities according to daily schedule: opens and closes facility; unlocks and locks doors; turns lights on or off; disarms and sets alarm; moves, sets up, and tears down tables, chairs, etc.; and performs routine cleaning duties such as emptying trash, sweeping floors, etc.
- Maintains attendance and punctuality within customary tolerances for this position.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED preferred; supplemented by one year of work experience that shows an ability to maintain steady employment in any field.
Physical AbilitiesRequires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria, as opposed to that which is clearly measurable or verifiable.
Sensory RequirementsSome tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, taste, odor, depth, texture, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Environmental FactorsPerformance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, smoke, noise extremes, and electric currents.
