Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta has been providing psychiatric services to the CSRA for more than 15-years. Located in Augusta, GA our 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. The Housekeeper opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Environmental Services Team who will ensuree and coordinate a clean, healthy, pleasant environment to assist in providing quality patient care; ensuring that the atmosphere is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Housekeeper is r responsible to maintain a sanitary, safe and sterile environment as a contributor to maintaining infection control standards.

• Cleans resident and non-resident areas.
• Removes and replacves soiled linens from designated areas.
• Maintains facility and furnishings in a clean, orderly condition.
• Complies with facility safety, infection control and security standards and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

21 years of age;
Elementary reading, writing and math skills; basic English usage; courtesy; neat/organized; adherence to instructions and deadlines; knowledge of and skills in applying basic cleaning and housekeeping procedures and methods.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility preferred.

Calculator, Electrical vacuum, carpet shampooer, mop, broom, cleaning and polishing solutions and compounds, etc.
