Overview

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is undergoing a major acquisition and integrating the acquired company’s systems into their enterprise landscape. We are seeking two experienced SAP Project Managers to lead work streams across SAP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and SAP Data Migration. You will join a large, coordinated acquisition program that includes several PMs across various streams, including those from Slalom.

The ideal candidate is a highly proactive, detail‑driven PM with hands‑on SAP experience who excels at connecting people, driving accountability, and managing complex cross‑functional efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end project management for SAP, MES, or SAP Data Migration work streams within the overall acquisition program.
  • Drive timelines, deliverables, RAID logs, communications, and stakeholder alignment across multiple business and technical teams.
  • Partner closely with functional SAP teams (configuration & development) to ensure readiness for production and alignment with integration milestones.
  • Coordinate with other PMs across the broader acquisition effort to maintain cross‑workstream visibility and risk mitigation.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and decision‑making meetings with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ensure data migration tasks, cutover activities, testing cycles, and validation steps are managed and delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain strict accountability among resources—ensuring owners follow through, teams remain aligned, and dependencies are actively managed.
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting to program leadership and support governance processes.
  • Manage vendor teams, internal SMEs, and cross‑functional resources across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and IT.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong Project Management experience within SAP environments—must have directly led SAP projects or major work streams.
  • Hands‑on SAP background: experience as an SAP team member in configuration, development, testing, or production deployment support.
  • Proven success driving complex multi‑team projects with a high level of organization, follow‑through, and accountability.
  • Experience managing requirements, functional design cycles, integration testing, cutover planning, and hypercare.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to drive alignment and deliverables across cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving acquisition environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with manufacturing systems or MES platforms in a pharma or regulated environment.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences operations.
  • Experience with acquisition or carve‑out integrations.
  • PMP, Agile certifications, or comparable PM framework knowledge.
Who Will Succeed In This Role
  • Assertive and proactive—comfortable holding others accountable.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to navigate ambiguity.
  • Experienced in SAP delivery and capable of translating between business and technical teams.
  • Strong connectors who keep people aligned and informed across multiple work streams.
