Cloud Security Engineer; Azure

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer (Azure) - GA to join their team. As a Cloud Security Engineer (Azure) - GA, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Department supporting the Cloud Security team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and professionalism, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer (Azure) - GA

Location: Preferably based in Marietta, GA, but open to candidates from any major office locations including Omaha, Denver, Berkeley Heights NJ, Atlanta, or remote for the right candidate (must be solid).

Pay Range:Best in the Segment on W2

• Implement and manage security controls within Azure cloud environments to safeguard enterprise data and infrastructure.
• Assist in strategic planning, architecture, and security initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify network and application security requirements, and test security controls and procedures.
• Support compliance programs and remediation efforts based on business priorities and risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud cybersecurity posture and ensure continuous security monitoring.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working within Azure cloud environments, including recent hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals, especially in Azure and Gov-Cloud environments.
• Experience managing security policies and initiatives in Azure, including identity access management, MFA, and SSO/Federation.
• Knowledge of network and application vulnerability testing related to Azure systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Security certifications are preferred.
