A bit about us:

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist. This position is an integral part of our team, providing technical support to all of our departments within the medical device industry. The role involves ensuring the smooth running of our computer systems, providing support, and managing software updates and installations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of JD Edwards, Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics, and other related software, as well as a solid foundation in computer science.

Provide IT support to all departments within the Medical Device industry, ensuring the smooth operation of software and hardware systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with JD Edwards, Outlook, and Microsoft Dynamics software.

Manage software updates and installations, ensuring minimal disruption to department operations.

Develop and implement IT strategies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity in the accounting and finance departments.

Collaborate with department heads to identify IT needs and provide solutions.

Maintain the security of all systems, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial data.

Provide training and support to staff on new software and systems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support and the accounting and finance industry.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support

Strong knowledge of JD Edwards, Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics, and other related software.

Proven experience as a computer technician, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and databases.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly and effectively.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical staff.

A proactive approach to work, with the ability to identify potential IT issues and resolve them before they impact operations.

A strong understanding of the accounting and finance industry, with the ability to identify and respond to the specific IT needs of these departments.
