Digital Process Improvement Manager

Job Description Position Summary Digital Process Improvement Manager

The Digital Process Improvement Manager is responsible for enabling a more efficient, effective, and data-driven Supply Chain by partnering with assigned Supply Chain functions to improve ways of working across processes, organization, tools, and people. The role translates functional priorities, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities into practical, value-driven digital solutions that improve business performance and support adoption across the organization.

This position is part of the Supply Chain Development Digital & Data team supporting the Global Distribution Supply Chain organization based in North America (Marietta, US). While centrally aligned within the Digital & Data team, the Digital Process Improvement Manager operates as an embedded partner with assigned Supply Chain functions, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders across multiple time zones to deliver scalable, aligned digital solutions that improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

As the role grows in responsibility, the scope expands from delivering defined digital and process improvement initiatives to shaping functional digital roadmaps, managing prioritized portfolios and backlogs, influencing business decisions, leading broader transformation efforts, and driving measurable value realization across Supply Chain functions.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Partner with assigned Supply Chain functions to deeply understand business processes, objectives, priorities, KPIs, pain points, decision routines, and ways of working, translating functional needs into practical, value-driven digital solutions.
  • Establish and execute functional digital transformation roadmaps through a managed and prioritized portfolio and executable backlog, driving delivery through agile sprints and quarterly planning while balancing demand, capacity, and enterprise priorities.
  • Identify, evaluate, prioritize, and implement digital process improvements across Supply Chain functional domains, including Planning, Manufacturing, Physical Distribution, Quality, Safety, and Finance.
  • Own digital initiatives end to end across the delivery lifecycle—from opportunity intake and value-based prioritization through design, modeling, data preparation, visualization, deployment, adoption, sustainment, and value realization.
  • Deliver and coordinate scalable solutions that may include dashboards, automated workflows, low-code applications, advanced analytics, machine learning, AI-enabled use cases, and other digital capabilities that support Supply Chain performance and transformation objectives.
  • Elicit and refine business and analytical requirements, defining KPIs, acceptance criteria, user stories, adoption plans, and success measures that guide backlog prioritization, solution design, and value realization.
  • Communicate progress, insights, risks, decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders by translating analytical findings and digital opportunities into clear, actionable recommendations that inform prioritization and execution decisions.
  • Drive user adoption and change management by partnering with functional stakeholders to embed solutions into daily ways of working and ensure sustained operational, financial, customer, and organizational value.
  • Contribute to common Digital & Data team standards, delivery practices, reusable solution patterns, governance routines, and capability development that improve scalability and consistency across Supply Chain digital initiatives.
