Position

Description:

The position is responsible for custodial maintenance of assigned college buildings and facilities.

Note:

This is a full-time position. Employment is with Chattahoochee Technical College and not with an individual campus. All employees are subject to work relocation based on college needs.

• Cleans restrooms, classrooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, entrance ways, and stairways.
• Cleans floors; sweeps, mops, dusts, waxes, and vacuums.
• Removes cobwebs from all surfaces.
• Cleans blinds and windowsills.
• Dusts furniture and fixtures.
• May change light bulbs for lamps, AC.
• Performs lawn maintenance work as assigned.
• Assures Front Entrance are swept and dusted.
• Maintains tools and equipment.
• Maintains cleaning supply inventory.
• Processes laundry, including cleaning rugs.
• Installs or moves furniture.
• Locks doors and secures cleaning supplies.
• Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

• Maintains cleaning supply inventory.

• No experience is required.

Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

$33,404.64 annually.
