About the role

Vermeer Southeast is seeking a driven, people focused Regional Manager to lead operations and sales at our Marietta , Buford , and Savannah locations. In this role, you will be responsible for overall branch performance by developing high performing teams, growing revenue, and ensuring operational excellence. You will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, expanding market share, and providing strategic sales leadership.

The Regional Manager will oversee daily operations to maintain safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards, while managing financial performance and inventory control. Success in this position requires a hands on leader who can effectively balance employee development, customer satisfaction, and profitability across the region.

What you'll do

Employee Development & Leadership
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team through coaching, collaboration, and open communication
  • Actively manage performance and implement meaningful development plans
  • Address employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters appropriately
  • Ensure full utilization of training tools and ongoing skill development
  • Anticipate staffing needs and support succession planning
  • Partner in recruiting, selecting, and developing top talent
Customer Service & Retention
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure professional, timely, and courteous interactions across all touchpoints
  • Oversee accurate quoting, order processing, repairs, and after-sale follow-up
  • Drive prompt resolution of customer service issues using all available resources
Revenue Growth & Market Share
  • Provide direction and training to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Promote all dealership products and services using effective sales strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive profitability and increase market share
  • Grow the customer base while retaining existing customers
  • Assist in determining optimal equipment inventory based on market trends
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and regional market conditions
Operational Integrity
  • Plan and communicate staff schedules in advance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
  • Use performance metrics and trends to continuously improve operations
  • Maintain accurate files, reports, and required documentation
  • Oversee cleanliness, security, and functional operation of facilities and equipment
  • Ensure proper inventory management for equipment, parts, and supplies
  • Confirm fleet vehicles are maintained according to established procedures

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in dealer operations at a management level
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with proven communication and leadership skills
  • Previous industry experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and follow through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of equipment safety practices and industry standards
  • Ability to accurately complete documentation and reports
  • Knowledge of dealership products, including specifications, features, benefits, and applications
  • Valid driver’s license required
