Foster Care Regional Administrator

• Overseeing the administration and coordination of foster care services within the region.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Supervising and supporting staff involved in the foster care program.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
• Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient operation of the program.
• Collaborating with community agencies and stakeholders to enhance services and support for foster families.
• Monitoring and evaluating program performance to ensure quality and effectiveness.
• Providing training and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Handling escalated issues and concerns related to foster care services.

• ABachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (a Master's degree is often preferred).
• At least two years of experience in foster care or a related field, with a focus on administration and management.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to foster care and child welfare.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage staff and coordinate services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data management systems.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia provides programs and services for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive differences. Located in Kennesaw, Georgia, this position is responsible for overseeing the administration and coordination of foster care services within the region, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
