We are seeking a seasoned, strategic
Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale operations for a dynamic, multi-location healthcare services organization. While this role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, the COO will overseenedon Georgia markets, partnering closely with the CEO to drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, and ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, patient centered care across all out of state locations.
This executive level role is ideal for a hands on leader with extensive experience managing multi state healthcare operations, supporting market expansion, and building scalable systems in a fast-paced environment. Travel to out of state locations will be required as needed to support and oversee operations.
Duties- Provide executive leadership over all operational functions for non-Georgia markets, including clinical operations, finance, human resources, scheduling, intake, and customer service.
- Partner with the CEO to develop and execute operational strategies that support growth, scalability, and long term sustainability across out of state locations.
- Standardize and optimize processes across non Georgia markets to drive efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement data driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local healthcare regulations across multiple jurisdictions outside of Georgia.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, develop, and retain high performing leaders and teams aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
- Oversee resource allocation, staffing models, and operational logistics to support timely, high-quality patient care in non-GA markets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all out ofstate operations.
- Support market expansion efforts, including onboarding new non-Georgia locations and scaling operational infrastructure.
- Travel to non-Georgia locations as needed to oversee operations, support leadership teams, and ensure operational consistency.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, executive management, or multi-site healthcare organizations.
- Proven success managing operations across multiple locations and/or multiple states.
- Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, forecasts, and operational P&Ls.
- In depth knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change-management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Patient-centered mindset with a passion for improving healthcare delivery at scale.
